I meant to include this list of wildlife I have seen in the past week. Everything seems to be more than ready for spring:
Loons, ducks, Canada geese, trumpeter swans, white-throated sparrows, blue jays, Canadian jays, purple finches, robins, bald eagles, hawks, grouse
Deer, otter, beaver, squirrels, chipmunks, pine martens

Hey, Toadio, good to hear from you! I’m glad you finally found a buyer. I saw their photo in some paper somewhere. I sent this reply to your cell phone as a text, but never heard back from you, so I am trying this way. Are you living in Grand Marais? I thought you wanted to go paddling this summer? Is that still on the table? I would love to have you (and Dave, if that is still a thing) come over to my cabin. I work at the forest service M- Th, but I’m available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
