Deb and Deb and I reached this lovely little river town this afternoon. We’ve gone 25 miles each of the last 2 days and we are tired. The weather is good, the bugs are non-existent, and the people are friendly. The river remains quite muddy, especially when we want to get out. One of the most exciting things that happened was that we found a blue 4-ft exercise ball floating in the river and carried it to the next town. It wasn’t heavy, but it obstructed the view.
